This may seem a bit odd, but I thought I'd share a bit of stuff here. I've spent most of my life in the military in one form or another. Growing up I was a dependent. When I got out of high school, I went active duty myself. Came off active duty and joined the guard. All told, I was in the military for close to 34 years, counting my time growing up. The Warrior's Path just seems natural to me. However, I have also come to realize that being a warrior is not about fighting. Anybody can fight. It is the true warrior that knows when to fight, and how to put things back together once the fight is over...thus the healer aspect of my chosen path.
With that in mind, I will be posting little tidbits of philosophy here dealing with this topic. Feel free to comment and/or disagree with anything posted.
“Out of every one hundred men, ten shouldn't even be there, eighty are just targets, nine are the real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle. Ah, but the one, one is a warrior, and he will bring the others back.” ― Heraclitus

Beautifully put... I can't imagine spending so much time in the military. I am grateful and thankful for each and every one of you, just not anything I could ever do myself... Thank you for your service and I look forward to being part of your healing path, where ever this leads you... Looking forward to your posts here as you learn and progress....
