That can be tough... a friend of mine posted something wonderful to help a young lady in my FB group... Whlle this was to help her become more centered with her "scattered thoughts" it's a great way to look into yourself and connect with our mother earth which is instrumental in finding your own power... let me know what you think...
Try to become aware of yourself in space ~ by that I mean when you are walking outside feel the earth beneath your feet; feel the connection you have with the earth. Feel how it "grounds" you and makes you feel secure. Next, breathe in the cool, fresh air ~ feel it filling up your lungs and refreshing you. Notice how it clears your thoughts and your mind. Next, if you are able to feel the sun on your body, this is good. Feel its warmth and its energy enbracing you. Feel how it makes you come alive and makes you want to go out in the world and "do" things with drive and passion. Next, connect to water by, eg drink ing a glass of water or taking a shower and as you do so, notice how clear and flowing the water is. Notice how it makes your thoughts flow and how it enhances your intuition Finally, be aware of your own heart and your own soul and spirit ¢¾ Earth, air, fire, water, spirit ~ the five points of the wiccan pentagram, and the main elements and their properties which form the basis of Wicca. You don't have to do this all at once, or even every day. Perhaps just do earth one day, and water whenever you drink water or take a shower. Over time, you may begin to feel more connected to nature and the elements in this way ~ a very good starting point. No need to rush. As someone once said, "Adopt the pace of nature: Her secret is patience."
