• 1gallon water • 4 qts. dandelion flowers (picked that day) • 3 lbs. granulated sugar • 4 lemons • 4 oranges • 1 cup white raisins • 1 tsp. yeast nutrient or all-purpose wine yeast Bring water to boiling in a saucepan. Meanwhile wash flowers and trim all stalk away. Place flowers into primary vat. Pour boiling water over top. Stir and cover. Set aside for 7 days, stirring twice a day. I have never tried making Dandelion Wine and I have never even seen or tried it.
Maybe if I come to visit next December when I finally get a break from my Workaholic Bender, you might prepare some for me to try when I get there.
