Do you believe feel you chose your spiritual path or that your path chooses you? Have you found yours?

I know that my path chose me and I have been walking it for years and years though I didn't truly embrace it and start to grow with it until about a year ago. I teetered between "Native American" wicca and Druid but have decided that the Druid path is definitely where I belong. Through a lot of reading, talking to people, especially my mentors, and following my heart and spirit, this is where i belong.
i am currently working and a year and a day training of sort learning all that I can through online and books. It's been a great ride so far (only started about a month ago) and I am loving every minute of it.

I am reminded of a song by Green Day, I think it is:
I walk a lonely road The only one that I have ever known. Don't know where it goes, But it's only me and I walk alone.

I think that it's my own choice to walk this path, but that the path chose me in turn. If I had not been willing to work for it or walk upon it, it would likely never have allowed me onto its road. Similarly, if it had never come into my life I would walk a different path. I'm an eclectic with strong leanings to Egyptian, Scandinavian and Celtic roads of thought. I pay my respects to my family's bloodline through the continuous connection to the Roman Catholic fold I grew up in. My teachings have been varied and came from many different paths. It's taken me years to get to where I am today. I have always known where I did not belong, but it took me quite some time to figure out where my place was.

I love the way you put this. I think that this holds true for so many of us!!!

If the path you choose does not return the sentiment, a fork will appear.
Here I'll insert a quote from Bob Marley, "When one door closes, doncha know, another is open."
