There are 8 Sabbats that make up the Wheel of the Year. The Sabbats are solar, seasonal and represent the cycle of birth, life, death and rebirth. These days are Samhain, Yule, Imbolc, Ostara, Beltain, Litha, Lughnasadh, and Mabon. Sabbats are celebrated in honor of the God, since it is His sacrifice of birth, life, death and rebirth that are represented by the Sabbats. Do you celebrate all of the Esbats and Sabbats or only some of them?

I celebrate most of the sabbats, but never an esbat. Imbolc and Mabon are usually the 'forgotten children' here, because they arrive in the middle of prolonged festivities from other sabbats. Esbats are not my cup of tea.

I really haven't done much for the Seasonal celebrations... Mostly just what we all do... Foods for the season, etc. I do try to give thanks and cast on the full and new moons as often as possible though. I am new to all of this and am trying to decide or figure out where I fit into all of this still as far as the Sabbat celebrations go....

Yeah, it might take a while to figure that out. Some Sabbat celebrations seem to come naturally, whereas others can be quite tricky. I found that the ones I was already used to celebrating (Yule, Samhain, Ostara) came to me easily. The others took more time and a lot of work to figure out.
